LifeArc has published an online “Repurposing Medicines Toolkit” to provide a guide for researchers, charities and others embarking on repurposing projects. The guidance highlights common activities, issues and considerations at each development stage and signpost to other available resources.
-
The EJP RD Innovation Management Toolbox is a reference library of resources in rare disease translational medicine. It is free to use and has been designed to provide investigators with self-help resources specific to their needs. Each resource is curated to improve searchability and the database is actively maintained.

The Assay Guidance Manual by our NCATS partner. The manual is a free, best-practices online resource devoted to the successful development of robust, early-stage drug discovery assays. They also host periodic, free workshops on the Assay Guidance Manuals, including an online workshop.
-
Drug Discovery, Development and Deployment Maps by our NCATS partner that provides dynamic and interactive representations of the modern therapeutic development process.
-
The NCATS COVID-19 OpenData Portal designed to rapidly and openly share SARS-CoV-2 screening data and assay information with the global health community.
Conduct collaborative research projects to remove systemic barriers and catalyze translation
We run a webinar series called ‘Translation Together Connect’ that provides a platform for researchers to publicise their research projects and establish international collaborations. It is an internal webinar series for our members and the inaugural session was held on 28 May 2021. During that inaugural session there were 3 short presentations from investigators based at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) in Brazil, who are seeking international collaborators. The presentations were followed by discussions in breakout rooms providing a forum to evaluate global collaboration opportunities. The sessions, on average, attract around 50 attendees.
